National Tree Trust - The National Tree Trust serves as a catalyst for local volunteer and community service groups in the growing, planting and maintenance of trees in rural communities, urban areas and along the nation's highways. The National Tree Trust (NTT) was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization under the authority of the America the Beautiful Act of 1990, and endowed with a one-time only grant by the U.S. Congress. NTT provides monetary grants, trees, and educational resources to assist local organizations with promoting tree planting, maintenance and education projects.
