Earthline Mission Statement
It is the intention of this web site to fulfill 3 main purposes:
- To help environmental and animal rights organizations achieve their goals by providing a conduit of information to the public and to businesses. This is designed to help bring more financial support, awareness, and volunteers to them.
- To provide a vehicle for reporting the level of success acheived by each organization in protecting the environment, endangered species, and for preserving life in general.
- To furnish information about the enterprises that are attempting to make an effort to protect the environment; or are sincerely finding ways of conducting business less harmful to the earth and it's inhabitants.
Earthline Philosophy
The Earthline philosophy is based on the idea that if you take economics out of the picture, you take success out of the picture.
We feel that good intentions are not enough motivation for making the changes necessary that will allow us to live on this planet without destroying it. Economics is a primary motivating force for humankind, and if we really want to clean up this planet we need to find ways of using economics toward that end.
We intend to seek out scientific and business organizations that are attempting to solve these problems, and make the public aware of their efforts, successes, and their problems.
